We also presented 5 “Lifetime Achievement Awards” that went to

Al McFarlane (MEDIA TV/VIDEO), Lino Delgado (B-BOY/FOUNDER OF FLOORLORDS), EDO G (BOSTON MC LEGEND/PIONEER), and Cindy Diggs (PEACE PROMOTER)- plus a special Lifetime Award was also presented to Cindy Diggs on behalf of King Beef (PROMOTER-R.I.P.) commemorating the mothers and families, joining us on stage, who have lost children and loved ones at the hands of senseless violence.

A Community Award for Dave Mecca of the Hip Hop Mecca Project, which was not engraved in time for the show, was later presented at our awards outing and listed the names of the 7 other nominees the M.I.C. felt did the most work utilizing Hip Hop as a tool to build better community in 2005. In addition to Dave Mecca and the Hip Hop Mecca Project, those included on the award were:
